The ‘Dark Side’ of the net.
Exploring this shit is freaky. They say it’s an easy place for activists in foreign countries to express their opinions without the government attacking them. It’s supposidly a disgusting place where 90% of the website are child pornography, and because the service is anonymous it can not be traced.
My time in the dark web was fleeting. Terrified I’d stumble across a website filled with jailbait pictures. But what I did find was surely interesting. Arms dealers. A website primarily used for selling illegal drugs. A website were for 20k you could hire someone to kill off the person you’ve always disliked. I fortuantly didn’t stumble upon any picture deemed illegal. Maybe my time on the dark side was lucky. Will I go back? Probably. For one the avenue of having these websites containing the real meaning of freedom of speech is exciting. And I am both terrified and excited as to what I’ll stumble upon next. Since it’s anonymous I’ll be alright. I’ll just try to avoid obvious signs of child porn.
